Instruction: - Place the wheat flour and dry ingredients into a mixer and mix for 1 minute. - Add water and mix at medium speed for 5 minutes. - Add shortening or butter, then continue mixing until the dough is smooth and elastic (4–5 minutes). - Divide and shape the dough, then place it into lidded sandwich pans. - Proof the dough for about 2 hours, until it rises near the top of the pan. - Bake at 190–200 °C for 25–30 minutes, depending on the loaf size. |
